Tangled Core
Tangled Core
A single motion folding into itself—endlessly searching for its own center.
Part of the Tangled series, this work is a continuous gesture—one form looping back into itself, creating a dialogue between interior and exterior within a single movement. What may first appear as separate elements reveals itself as one uninterrupted flow, shaped by tension, resistance, and release.
The rough, tactile surface captures the immediacy of the making process, preserving every push and pull of the material. Openings within the form invite the viewer to look through rather than at, where void and mass become inseparable.
Rather than resolving, the piece remains in motion—suggesting that balance is not a fixed state, but something constantly negotiated within ourselves.
